Lifetime Achievement Award

By the An individual who has contributed supremely throughout life to the jewelry industry in Arkansas who, by unselfish dedication and professionalism, has established traditions of ethics and has set the standards by which others are measured. The Lifetime Achievement Award is bestowed upon a person who has exhibited high standards of character and ethics and who is held in the greatest esteem by peers and fellow members of the jewelry industry, a person who, through service and example, has left a legacy that has become the life blood of the jewelry industry in Arkansas today.

By the The Arkansas Jewelers Association held their annual convention at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, August 12th, where Sissy Jones of Sissy’s Log Cabin in Pine Bluff, Arkansas was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. This is only the second time the award has been given by the Arkansas Jewelers Association with the first award given to TC Carter in 2004. The award was given to Sissy Jones because of her commitment and contributions to the jewelry industry in Arkansas and for her unselfish dedication and professionalism which has established traditions of ethics and has set the standards by which others are measured.
